Functionally, it's adaptable. The base fabric is a light-filtering cotton drape. If you need total blackout, we add a coating to the back. Noise reduction and flame retardancy are available the same way. The treatments don't stiffen the fabric or ruin the hand feel, which is the usual complaint I hear about coated natural fibers.

100% cotton. The spec sheet says it clearly. If you've seen a version that says "polyester," that's a different product.
