Here's the problem with lined blackout curtains: the liner is a separate piece. It's stitched or laminated to the face fabric. Wash it 20 times in a hotel laundry, and it starts to separate - bubbles at the bottom, sags in the middle, light bleeding through the gaps. Across 300 rooms, you're chasing defects room by room.

The HCBX14 doesn't have a liner. The blackout core is woven between the face and the backing in a single pass. It's the same piece of fabric all the way through. You can't delaminate it because there's nothing laminated. You can't get bubbles because there's no separate layer to shift.

Weight: 289GSM - roughly a face fabric plus lining combined, minus the bulk. It drapes clean, runs on standard motorized tracks without straining the motor, and doesn't bunch or catch during automated cycles.

FR option: The same triple-weave can ship fire-rated. Inherently FR fiber or durable FR finish - same certification landscape as our HCYD01. NFPA 701, BS5867. One product, one spec, blackout + fire code handled.

For interior designers: Every panel drapes identically. No liner sag, no buckling, no transition seam visible when the curtain is drawn. You specify it once, and room 312 looks the same as room 507.

Triple-weave vs. lined - what's the actual difference?

Lined curtain: two pieces of fabric stitched or bonded together. Laundering pulls them apart. Triple-weave: one piece, three layers woven together from the start. No seams to fail. No adhesive to degrade. Same blackout performance at wash 1 and wash 100.

Is 289GSM substantial enough?

The 289GSM is the complete fabric - face + blackout core + backing. For comparison: a standard lined setup might run 250GSM face + 100GSM liner. Similar total weight, less material fighting each other. The triple-weave drapes better because it behaves as one piece of fabric, not two.

Can I get this fire-rated?

Yes. Inherent FR or durable finish on the same triple-weave base. One curtain handles both blackout and fire code. No separate FR liner to spec, no gap in the certification chain where the blackout layer isn't tested.

Does the blackout hold up after commercial laundering?

100+ cycles, still 99%+. There's no glue to fail and no stitching to loosen. The blackout core is a woven layer inside the fabric structure. It doesn't go anywhere.

Why 50-piece MOQ?

Most triple-weave blackout runs have higher minimums - the weave setup is more complex than a standard fabric. We kept this one at 50 pieces to make it work for boutiques and chains alike. Same fabric, same spec, whether you're outfitting 12 rooms or 1,200.

Works with motorized tracks?

Better than lined curtains do. No separate liner to catch or create uneven drag. Uniform weight distribution across the panel. Smooth operation through automated open/close cycles - thousands of them.
