This one was built for properties operating under UK and European regulations-BS5852, the standard that matters in those markets. The fire resistance is part of the fiber, not a chemical sprayed on after weaving. That distinction matters because spray treatments wash out. They fade, they need reapplication, and eventually someone on the operations team forgets to recertify and the paperwork gap becomes your problem. With this fabric, you pass inspection on day one and you're still compliant after years of commercial laundry cycles.

It's 305 GSM polyester. Not heavy enough to make housekeeping's job harder, not light enough to look cheap. It blocks most ambient light, softens hallway noise, and hangs clean without sagging. Available in colors across the spectrum-if you need to match a specific brand palette across a large property, you won't find yourself compromising.

There's no PVC backing. The weave handles the light on its own. That means the fabric breathes, doesn't trap stale air in enclosed rooms, and doesn't develop that chemical smell that coated curtains get over time. If a project genuinely requires total blackout, we can add a flexible backing to the reverse side. It's designed to move with the fabric rather than stiffening it, so the drape quality stays intact.

The same base fabric ends up in very different settings. A five-star property and a budget motel can both use it-the difference comes down to how it's finished. Grommet top for a clean modern look, ripple-fold for traditional interiors, pinch-pleat for something in between. The fabric holds whatever configuration you choose and maintains its appearance through hundreds of wash cycles.
